Abstract

Security and privacy, accountability and anonymity, transparency and unobservability: these terms and more, are all vital elements of trust in the domain of Critical Financial Infrastructure (CFI). However, these related yet distinct concepts, are often substituted for one another in our discussions on this field. This is unhelpful since it leads to poorly defined security and privacy requirements. An ontological approach to capturing and representing the miscellaneous terms in this domain will go some way to addressing this issue.
