Greek culture and philosphy and modern engineering have a common ground. The rich heritage engineers have inherited and are helping to keep alive in the everyday use of terms and theorems of the ancient philosophers is outlined. Focus is on the Pythagorean theorem, syllogism, cosmology and the atomic theory.
